Andrew was appointed as a staff flying instructor in 1992.  Later as Chief Flying Instructor, he had the distinction of becoming one of the youngest to hold such an appointment. With his dedication and hard work, he was instrumental in the development of the school to its present status.

Andrew flew for Air Foyle on the British Aerospace 146 before becoming the TNT takeover where he flew the Boeing 737 and the 747.  He moved to Norwegian Airlines on the Boeing 787 until they disbanded during the pandemic.  He is rated on the Boeing 747and Boeing 777.  As our most senior member of staff, he continues to instruct and examine at the School.
